Eurovision Song Contest

2023 saw the city of Liverpool host one of the biggest and best Eurovision Song Contests of all time. 

Lucy worked alongside the host city team to provide a suite of copy and support, combining her expert skills as a copywriter and project manager. 

Copy that Lucy created for the contest included:

  • The Official City Broadcast Guide

  • On-Screen Safety and Event Messaging 

Alongside copywriting projects, Lucy also led the content co-ordination for the digital screens at the sell-out Eurovision Village Fan Zone. This saw Lucy work with event partners and stakeholders including TikTok and Booking.com to project manage every piece of content, both written and multimedia, that was played to visitors on the digital screens. 

Lucy also provided on-the-ground support for the event, managing the city press centre within the arena thanks to her background working across journalism and PR.
